What is the flushing velocity of chilled water piping system?

3 -4 FPS velocity is standard practise

according to AWWA C61     it is2.5 to3.5 fps

according to NFPA24          it is not less than10 fps

rule of sumb                          it is3 fps

if anyone find a specs related to HVAC please give a comment, thanks

2.5 to3.5 as far as my experience goes

from my experience it is preferable to be between5 to8 m/s
