For Sure, YES ^^. During our study, there was a practical course for aseptic preparation of IV fluids, TPN and cytotoxic drugs.. also during our clinical rotations, we used to prepare cytotoxic medications under full aseptic conditions using laminar flow hoods.. I think that we as pharmacists are the only ones who know about medications and their compatibility and stability with each other and with the IV fluids.. this make practicing LFH one of our responsibilities. :)
Yes,It is of course an important tool used to prepare various sterile preparations.It is not the responsibility but a vital tool that we use in our inpatient operation.
