Where I can find sound driver for Dell Optiplex GX520 using Windows 7 OS?

There are so may ways to find the device drivers depends on someones experties, following are most common ways

1. You can download the intel driver udate utility and seach via that utitily,most of the time driver is found

2. You can go to dell website and download the appropriate driver, GX520 have all the required drivers there

3. You can take the backup of sound driver from another working machine, in this way you'll get .inf file and you can install that by using advanced option using drivers update

I would suggest not to use third party softwares like divers detector because you'll end up with downloading viruses

I am sure it is available at support driver section of dell.com. Dell(R) are one of the best computers that i have ever managed and configured. PLUS the support for drivers is not that hard to be obtained. Just enter the code (on top, side, back) that you can see in the system unit and choose what operating system. This method is not restricted to Optiplex GX520 only but to hardwares of Dell(R). Try it.

Audio Chips at Different Mother Boards , have a lot of similarty but not for all , so there are  drivers aspecially audio drivers that can be supported from another place 

there are many programs to download and install drivers automatically like driver pack solution , driver max , driver genius , it is so easy to use them

Any way I used vista64 audio driver and I didnt found any problem at all with windows7 ( but of caurse that is not right )

you must make a backup image before you make any thing ( and that is a must )

This machine is compitable with Windows XP only..... have to depend on the sound card chip manufacturer website if there is any updated file for win7 drivers are available. Or otherwise I think windows update trick should work. by the way by default win7 will install its drivers in any case.
