1 - Carefully choose Their-mail address. They will use their e-mail to communicate with many people throughout their college career—friends, professors, advisors, potential employers, and more.

2 - Have at least one suit.

3 - Enroll in classes that prepare them for the everyday world.

4 - Gain practical experience inside the classroom.

5 - Look for possible work experience.

6 - Find a balance in extracurricular activities.

7 - Meet with their advisor regularly. 

Identify their strengths, potentials, interest and weaknesses and aim accordingly.

Clarity and detailing on what they want and how would they achieve.

Improve communication skills.

Learn to hear more and value others opinions by allowing them space.

Role plays on presenting themselves in interviews.

Inculcate the need of learning and developing which will be an on going process.

Be humble and do good with all humility.

Take off with full confidence and consider failures at different stages of life as an opportunity for learning.

Completion of university degree is not enough. One should check their interest in future. Make your roadmap and put milestones to achieve. Assign each milestone tasks and follow complete all tasks.

I agreed that fresh student should have presentation skills. One should know how to deal with different levels of people.

Internships during the summer hollidays are a great start!

In the UK, a range of universities old and new, including Surrey, Leicester and Liverpool John Moores, are taking steps to make their graduates more employable.

They teach students how to get a job (dress, interview technique, what makes a good resumé), which is never simple. And more importantly, they help people understand how to operate once they have joined an organization. There are modules on being an effective colleague, managing people and getting things done.

Employers rarely say that graduates know too little about chemistry or accountancy. Instead, they often complain that they do not know how to use their academic knowledge in the workplace.

There are plenty of things you may plan to do. All i would say is, have a proper execution plan for each activity. Make a goal per your expertise and interest and then plan a route to achieve that and follow it sincerely.Remember, every great things starts with good preparation, so prepare yourself well on the lines of goal you wish to achieve. If you have a goal, look for the steps that are required to fulfill the goal and execute them carefully to achieve the success. Best of luck.
