WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS ? A) THE INNOVATOR HIMSELF B) THE THRUST OF SUCCESS OF POWERFUL PERSONS C) THE SITUATION AND CIRCUMSTANCES What is your experience on it and learning which you can guide me ?
Dear Arinjay
This is universal truth. Can't be denounced. We are in scientific age called modern times and have transended from old age when there were very few inventions and discoveries called primitive times when we had no facilities speaking of Communication,Transportation,Entertainment ,Science and inventions have eased our lives and give us enormous facilities. We Owe it to Allah and Quran where from the Science has emanated and thus the inventions to place.
My Point of Expression is that behind the transformation and Modernisation sombody has worked very hard behind the curtain done Innovations and Inventions to bring this all to us and have eased our lives with no great personal gains to them or credit to them but only name appears in text book.
1.Pencillin discovery of Alexander Fleming in1928 first used in world war2 saved lives of millions then and hereafter.Somebody's innovation is helping and saving million of lives.Fleming No where but he is helping millions.
2.James Watt Invented Steam Engine long ago in1781.He did not see it or ride it but people world over are benefited.
3.Computer device conceived first by Charles Babbage in1831 revolutionised whole world he idnot use it but helped millions to better their lives.
Food for Thought is People who do good to world by Inventing or Innovating Things those alleviate or lives or help the Humanity without really getting any monetary benefits Even they don't get credit of their Innovation. Not to speak of Meagre people with meagre Innovations who work for Money Only.
Great question, but it is hard to balance the situation.
GoodDay!!!
Agreed to the answer given by Mr. Faisal Ahmed. What i have perceived from the question is that we are discussing Innovations .... not inventions ?? i would like to mention STEVE JOBS as an example. He is an Innovator (not an inventor) and the most benefited person of the innovation he made, along with the whole world using his product.
whereas INVENTORS are crazy people, they dont think about rewards just like MR. HASHMI mention beautifully. They just want the world to get benefited by their inventions.
Agree with Mr.:Alamgeer & Mr.: Irphan TOO
Give and take completes a cycle. Depends which side the person is and the side always changes.
No i do not agree, Innovations are esstential and the cost of innovation is beard by the inovator himself which is his hardwork and belive in hinself to create something new, but yes Fruits of Innovations are eaten by the whole world which is actually the real Fruit of an Innovator ....
My opinion is B and we can find a lot of examples in our surroundings.
Organisations can get their innovation patient and control fruit eaters and earn investment made in R&D.
Experimentation is imperative for all business. It’s how new innovations are born and how they stay competitive in the market. Automotive companies have concept cars; food companies experiment with new foods and flavors; retail companies experiment with placement of products and store atmosphere; drug companies are built on experimentation; tech companies have “labs” like Google Labs; and many high performing companies, like Google, allow their employees to experiment. Even sports teams experiment with new plays and/or players. Experimentation is everywhere and is always happening.
It the key to be stand out in market and retain competitive advantage.
Yes ... and I would suggest there should be a function/department/unit that should be in charge of innovation with clearly defined objectives, programs/initiatives and budgets to cover for innovation across the overall enterprise !
