Based on my Personal experience,

1. Understand & Evaluate your position before initiating.

2. Study the Risk involved (In the Event of Deal falling through)

3. Information is wealth, Be equipped with everything small detail of the Deal & that of the person sitting in front of you. Comparables. Throw information during the meet and always steer the Negotiations your way.

4. Never Show Desperation. Master the art of Poker Face

5. Finally, ENJOY IT !!
