Can you describe accounting in your words?

Accounting, although mainly associated with finance, is basically being able to justify or prove something. You can in turn, be held accountable for your actions, give a good account of yourself or give your account of something that has happened. Translated into the more "popular" world of finance, accounts basically give a true, complete and accurate "account" of how monies are controlled.

Accounting refers the process of financial data collecting, summarizing, analysing, recording over a period and enabling for management decision.
