Mixing between business and friendship? is it good idea to build a partnership with your wife? or to start a business with your close friend?

Good evening. In my opinion, in regards business it is not good idea to build partnership with your wife or close friend. Since business doesn't run on emotions and with the close one you are emotionally attached. Even though you will decide or take a oath that you will not mix up personal relationship and business relationship but in practical life it is impossible. I can give you the best example of a surgeon who can perform many surgery without hesitation but when he/she has to operate on his/her loved one there will be hesitation. It is a normal human tendency. But I also want to admit there are a few people who can maintain distance between personal and professional relationship.

What i believe iz that you become the closest friend ever with your partner no matter what relation gathers you together business is a seperate entity that should never be mixed with Personal life if you are the boss of your brother would loosing a ten grand be nothing because he's close to you unless you rather paying for his Loss

In Lebanon thousands of investors build partnership with their wives. On the contrary it is very helpful and healthy since she is the closest person to you and everything will be clear like crystal. While the partnership with a friend is somehow different especially when it comes to running the company or money issues. so it is better to separate friendship from business.
