Most, if not all, companies, including its staff, in the Middle East equate Public Relations as something to do with PRO. What I mean with Public Relations here, however, is the IMAGE that a company projects to its target market or audience.
Building up the Corporate Image is not some magic to achieve overnight. First have to set up your fair and ethical inner environment, a good set of devoted and motivated people. Ensure the Quality of your product / services, strictly backed by commitment. Throughout the organization be "Customer Oriented or Customer Centric". These altogether are just building the Inner side of "CORPORATE IMAGE", you have something to claim. Then comes it Communication / marketing. Good communication in all possible modern ways to targetted group focusing the image of your product/service. Maintain consistency over the period. Continuous Follow up your product / service concentrating to the Quality - Commitment - Customer Orientation in all levels. Participate in CSR activities. Never forget the motivation and quality of your inner team (HR), keep an eye on Employee Turnover, do satisfaction survey on employees and Customers to get the real situation (dont be biased through controlled survey). Years passed. People will tell you have built up something.
I must say that public relation is not that easy as how you can imagined. But i also believe that there is no impossible once that you give your best, its about how you approach people although some people not seems really nice when you approach them so you have to be patient, and show them that you really mean it.
Building a business image is not something invented by a public relations firm: It's a reflection of what you do and how you do it. Marketing your business brand means running a first-rate Business and letting people know about it. Every action your company takes sends a marketing message.
