Please share your experiences on achieving PMP. Did you get a new job, promotion, or raise once you got your PMP certification?

Yes I get a very good raise, also I  receive a wonderful offers, I recommend everyone interested in Project Management to get PMP

I have two designations Certified Project Manager (CPM) and Certified Project Director (CPD) from International Association for Project and Program Management (IAPPM) My focus and interest remains on short/medium term contract work and not employment Also, I am the owner/moderator of Advanced Project and Program Topics (APMT) group in Linkedin where I have3500+ members in this group 

Still, I have not got any career yet in the field of information Technology or Information Security Project/Program Management, and still search hardly in this field by handling a lot of phone and face to face interviews. In general, I highly recommend any one to become a PMP

Although I did not get PMP certificate, I really recommend everyone interested in Project Management to get PMP ASAP.
