AGREED WITH THIS IDEA......... ORGANISATIONS WHO TREAT THEIR HUMAN RESOURCE AS BIGGEST CAPITAL ,, STAY LONG ,, EMPLOYEES LOVE THEM ,, GROW FASTER ,,, HAVE INNOVATIVE IDEAS ALL THE TIME ,,, FULLY AGREED ........... HR IS NOT COST,,ITS EMPLOYER BIGGEST INVESTMENT.
The biggest asset of any company in achieving success is it's employees.. There is no company without employees, employees first rest is next..Companies start realizing this slowly, and started valuing the talent and investing more on growing their employees' skills, investing to provide better salaries, benefits, team building activities so that people work happily which is important to achieve good productivity..
Employers that see their people as assets tend to treat them well. Some treat them so well that these companies are recognized as best places to work.
Employees love to work for companies that value them, that treat them as valuable assets.

I observe2 opposite thoughts about employees value...... The Finance people always treat employees as cost where as the professional Business person or Sales/Marketing heads knows the true value of their assets and they keep investing in them to grow their assets.
Because the true professionals take a vested interest in the bigger picture, they treat their employees like stakeholders. They create an environment in which “jobs” are regarded more like “investments,” employees will show up with passion, productivity, and focus, making the company more profitable.
Very true; human resource is the most valuable, developing and potential growing assets of an organisation which meets the growing business demand.
Business is run by people. Employees are one of the important stakeholders in any business and their skills and experiences are the assets that a company invested in. A business reaps the benefits and grows multiple folds when it decides to treat it’s employees with respect and gives them opportunities and incentives to perform and grow.
In my opinion, "Treat employee as Asset" - compare business to a game. Every game have a spesific goal to achieve. Maximum contribution of every member of that team is necessary to win the game. Hence, team members are more important. And you can win the game only if you choose the best team members.
And the salary paid to the members cannot considered as cost. Because you are paying them from a part of their contribution. You won the game just because of them. And they will generate profit for you even in future.
Employees are the asset of company, the more we invest on them , we will get greater return,
It increases the value of company also.
No second thoughts to it,the example can be seen in many great multinational and national companies where employee joins and reaches his retirement there only.
That's why they are called assets.
