Any of these statements has its value to the Financial manager  and to the users of financial statments as a hole, but in my opinion the Cash flow statement is the most importnt to the Financial Manager.

Hello Muhammad,

All the financial statements you listed above are important for a Financial Manager. Each one of them would provide him certain type of information:

-Balance Sheet - shows you financial position of the company

-Income statement - shows you the performance of the company

-Statement of changes in equity - explains the changes in a company`s equity over the reporting period

-Cash Flow Statement - shows how changes in Balance Sheet accounts and income affect cash and cash equivalents-Statement of Comprehensive Income -shows the change in equity (net assets) of a business enterprise during a period

But in my opinion, the most important and significant financial statement for a Financial Manager is:

d. Cash Flow Statement

In order to sustain my affirmation, I would like to say that the best financial analysis are made using Cash flow indicators, not only Profit&loss figures.

Thank you!

a. Balance Sheet . ( Foundation Stone)

A Balance Sheet summarizes a company’s Assets, Liabilities and Owners’ Equity (Net Worth) at a specific point in time, usually at the end of an accounting period.  The purpose of a Balance Sheet is to give users an idea of the company’s financial condition along with displaying what the company owns and owes.  It helps business owners quickly get a handle on the financial strength and capabilities of their business.  Balance Sheets, along with Income Statements, are also the most basic elements in providing financial reporting.
