The head of account receivable indicates outstanding on debtors. If they settle their debts by issuing PDC it means that they somehow settle their outstanding. Therefore, you need to create another account parallel to receiveable account by the name PDC Outstanding which will reduce receivable account by adjusting entry and when check is realised then this transaction will automatically settle by bank/cash. PDC cheques are considered as payment guarantees only at a certain date and has nothing to do with the account receivable balance.. once the amount is being received, then the AR gets affected.

A postdated check (PDC), — a check with a date that is later than the current date — is not considered to be currency.

Further, the postdated check should not be reported as part of the Cash Account Balance until the date of the check.

If the postdated check was received as payment on accounts receivable, the accounts receivable balance is not reduced. Therefore, the company Balance Sheet or Debtor's Balance remains the same until the date of the check..
