Is the apple smart phone will be treated as an asset or not? If yes then explain why? and if no then also justify why?

Sir, Thanks for answering.But usually most of the companies dont consider to captialise the mobile phones even if they are worth of PKR-100,000/-  on the other hand they capitalize the computers (old versions) worthing in PKR-5,000/- as a capitialised item

It depends on two factors. The cost of the cell phone and the expcted usful economic lifte.

If the cost is signifcant, and expected economic life is more than one year, than it can be capitalized.
