If you notice that the customer is always ready to accept your offer, but a small push (in the form of a special discount) will make him sign, what will you do?
NICE SOFT QUESTION FOR SALES PEOPLE SIR ====== NO DOUBT THAT I WILL GO TO SELL HIM THRU DISCOUNT,,,, DISCOUNTS ARE THE ONE OF SELLING TOOLS/ TECHNIQUE TO CONVERT YOUR HARD CUSTOMER INTO BUYER,,,,, GOOD DAY
In this case, firtst I will see quantity of order and who is the customer, then I will offer special discount to grab order.
Use permissions required for completion of the transaction
As my customer is ready to accept my offer, I wouldnt offer him a discount because, the pricing of the product is done in accordance with the value it offers to my client. I strongly believe that the pricing has been done in such accordance and the client could be convinced to go with the original pricing.
Ask for more orders in return.
If the Customer is ready to accept my Price, then I will not offer him a discount. However, if I can see a long term relationship with the client then yes, I will offer him a discount.
In business it should be always give and take. If we give some extra discount, we need to get some leverage from customer as well.
No I will not offer any more discount. but to keep him happy, i might make him feel that i care for him.
