The course in its self is the best part, the information you learn is the most valuable part.
Now what I have learned from other courses such as combat life saver gave me a lot more knowledge and information, but CPR seems to be the foundation for it all.
So the pros are you are certified, comes in handy (especially if you have children) The cons well I have only used the information maybe twice in my life (thank god) and I don't think I have ever been hired on a job just because of it.
Personally tho I loved the class and enjoyed the knowledge.

There are a lot of advantages having CPR certification to name some here they are:

1. Increases chances of employment-  it's an edge to have cause almost every employe look for it especially if your looking forward working on specialist areas like the Emergency Rooms,Intensive Care Units,Operating Room and other specialties.

2. Uplift's your self confidence- the mere fact that CPR certification is in your hands it's understood that you are equiped with knowledge and skills thus you know it your self that you can actually do it at times of action.

3. Keep  updated-  engaging self in such training for certification purposes allows your self to be aware to the basic every one must atleast know.

4. Networking- requires team work,you'll have to work with anyone invoved,a way of like connecting to  people in a professional manner.

 

-being CPR certified responder has a lot of responsibility to consider because this is LIFE were talking about every single second count that possibilities of reviving patient could turn down to death.
