This includes the support in Engineering program on design, Installation and maintenance in all in Industrial Sectors.
It requires the knowledge in the support, documentation on quality assurance on project management program.

JOB Definition for engineering support specialist:- A person who involved/experience in Project management, conceptual design, detailed design, prototyping, manufacturing, performance analysis, technical documentation and System configuration.
Actual Role of engineering support specialist::1.
The Engineering Technical Support Sr.engineer/specialist applies practical engineering assignments including facility and experimental support hardware lay-out, design and fabrication2.
Facility maintenance and repair of capital and test equipment in support of various projects3.
Meets with engineers to define the scope of task requirements, and schedule constraints, communicates with engineers and project managers to provide progress reports and facilitating the identification of resources needed to accomplish the task/project.

Another definition of Service support enginering is a center that provides a Single Point of Contact between a company’s customers, employees and business partners.
The Service support enginering is designed to optimize services on behalf of the business and oversee IT functions.
Thus, a Service support enginering does more than making sure IT services are being delivered at that moment, it manages the various lifecycles of software packages used to provide critical information flow by utilizing ITIL best practices.
