For an employee, fear can be a friend or a foe. What do you say?

A fear to a large extend is not all advisable.  And the fear if required is to be respectful and voluntary at the option of the employee. 

Fear is a friend if it makes you be careful, but a foe when it keeps you from doing what you should do at work. Fear affects you personality, it prevents you from being creative, taking intiatives, accept challenges and even taking decisions. I believe it is more a foe than a friend.

I respect all opinions. however for me fear never will be a friend to acheve your goals and reach your dreas should always take the risk and try all your best ...fear will be your weekness , you should be careful but don't let fear control you...

Fear stops an employee from growing in his career. As Mr. Ibrahim mentioned, it restricts the employee from taking risks, accept challenges that are important for career growth of an employee..
