these protocols used to transfer files between one end to another end.

for File Transfer Protocol TCP/IP is Responsible protocol.

The protocol used is depend upon how you transfer your data. IT it from web or File server then HTTP and FTP used. If you transferring data from Local LAN you are using SMB for window and NFS/CIFS used in UNIX.
