Is it better to have a university degree to work in the exporting business?

Yes, it's better to have graduate or post graduate degree before going into Import Export business.
Becauase most educated persons can easily learn the dynamics of cons and pros of this business.

It's better to have a Master or at least do some courses will teach you the special points that make exports different to the rest of sales.
Because it is true in this field you need specific knowledges such as payment methods, delimitation of responsibilities in transport, package specifications depending on the country of destination...

University degree is okay but if someone does not have university degree he or she can also work in export business. This requires knack, how you want develop your career. Definitely university degree will be an added advantage.

No need to do any course if you have the practical experience with you. Try to work under a experienced Export Manager and follow him in every steps . you must ask him if you have any doubt tell him to explain you in details . After2 years practical Experience you are the genius. I have seen many Masters in Business Management International trades but they dont even know the basic of the Export marketing and documentation. All degrees can be purchased online but you cannot purchase the practical Knowledge and experience with your money.

Generally & Definitely, being educated in this particular field of discipline - the export business gives us all a lot of ideas particularly on the theories and practices. However. if you are born with a golden spoon in your mouth, which means to say that you will be inheriting the kind of business your parents is having at the moment..... attending school in this kind of field is useless.

The anchors says is that idea nowadays to do to be a multi-billionaire.

Nope, but I know where I am going to said the Multi-Billionaire. But I am telling the present generation

that the key role now to get a good start up pay is the diploma & certificates at the moment. So they need to finish school, from there on think it over.... to be a millionaire at the moment...

So unless the business will be inherited from whatever source,,,, extensive schooling is definitely required 

with the help of consistent research. because not all informations are learned from school.... we need to do the extra legwork or research and development.
