VERY TRICKY QUESTION,,,,, I D,NT KNOW HOW MOST PROFESSIONAL WILL RESPOND ABOUT THIS QUESTION BUT TO BE HONEST THESE ALL THINGS MATTERS WHILE SELECTION ,,, OF COURSE EVERY ONE WILL SAY THAT HIS/HER VOTE WILL BE FOR PURE PROFESSIONAL ,,, THEORATICALLY THATS SEEM TO BE FINE ENOUGH BUT REALITY IS ENTIRELY DIFFERENT,,,, I WILL VOTE FOR PURE PROFESSIONAL WITH MY COUNTRY BACK GROUND , , , FEMALE COZ I WILL BE COMFORTABLE IN WORKING ,, , , ,

I give priority  to the pure professional..I think selection process should be pure and clear.The right candidate for the right position rest of the above options should not be consider during selection..if it does not happen then you must change your whole selection system.Thanks

I will select by exclusion and say that I would never base my hiring position on: Race - Family relation - Sect - Cast. I believe such retarded & regressive nepotism should be out of this world, for good (unless it is a country policy intended for the inclusion of big numbers of nationals who're extremely underrepresented in the total work-force)

 

That's a rock-strong (idealist) conviction I have based on my life experience and most importantly on my principles and values. The world is my birthplace and all are equal in terms of fair employment, unless made unequal through level of professionalism.

 

Having said this, and depending on the position or role in question, it may only be extra professional of me to hire:

  1. A country-man who happens to know the market better or simply who speaks the native language. That's "logical discrimination" to me, that can never be harmful or offensive.
  2. I may also prefer to hire lady or a man (gender) for a position better matching their gender. Such distinction does exist in professional life.
