The best way to manage your brand is by establishing brand consistency.
Whether it's your company website, your ranking in SEO, or conversations in your Facebook and Twitter pages, you should strive for consistency in image and reputation.
Your message should always be as simple and consistent as possible in every marketing channel, in order to ensure that when people think of your brand, their perception is inline with YOUR perception of the brand.
Consistency will save you money and eliminate any confusion about what your brand stands for in the marketplace.

Answering this question shall take us back to the meaning of the word : Brand ! The brand is the mental and emotional associations between the consumer and the company product and/or service.
Doing any activities which shall strengthen these associations, shall be for the best of the brand, but the main issue you will face is the measurement, personally I believe that marketing and branding is all about research and measurement, if you have both in solid framework, your pricing, communication, image,, positioning ...etc shall get better by time, it will be something like driving, you need to watch indicators to know how long it will take you to reach your goal, so you will know exactly what you are doing "measurement", and keeping your eyes on the road in case any changes happened or unexpected turns appeared "research".

You need to make sure your brand can be easily found by establishing proper networks with your consumers.
Have a proper message, clear presence and inform your clients what your brand can do for them.
You also need to have a proper plan for your brand, alot of changes with the way a brand is presented can confuse people.
