I do not agree individual company need for labor union because many of unions are linkages with political party. It does not bring the productivity and profitability rather bring problems for the organization. I do agree for Collective Bargaining Association (CBA) at national level.

Labor Union means unity of labours but i think not required in company because labour are not different resource of company it's a main resource of company.  Effective & active management well manage our resources to get more productivity in the term of profitability...

Yes, if and only if the union is active. In this case the employee will feel protected and comfortable at work which will lead to more productivity of the employee.

A good and active  union should be the guard of employees rights and obligations as well.
