VFDs are best solution to increase the energy efficiency of an induction motor. VFD is selected according to the power required to drive the motor.The same VFD can act as heavy duty and light duty drive according to the rating of motor which is controlled by it.A normal dutyhp drive has a hevy duty rating ofhp.
