How to Unlock Background? - Photoshop

Steps to Unlock layer :

1) Select Background Layer from Layers

2) You Will Find a LOCK Symbol on Thumbnail of Background Layer. Double Click on it

3) Now Press OK. It Will Convert your Background into a New Layer.

Background layer lock by default just duplicate the background layer & you good to go to edit it.

Double click the background layer and you will get it unlocked.

1) On the left side of the photoshop CC software you have the left panels bar.

2) Click the button that looks like 2 diamonds together.

3) The "Layers" panel will appear on your left side. Showing the background layer at the very last.

4) There is a small lock icon on that layer on its right side in the layers panel.

5) Click on the lock to show an unlock icon.
