What is the difference between the working capital and capital invested?

Working Capital is what funds you have for the day to day running of the business. For example, Current Assets - Current Liabilities = Net Current Assets Capital Employed is how much money has been invested/employed within the company or business.

Working capital = current assets current-current liabilities 

Working capital + fixed assets =invested capital
