It acsually depends on your taste,some the people study engineering by the compeltion from thier family.Taking MBA is a method to escape from the core subjects while taking masters would lead to specializing in a field of engineering

That's a good question to ask but you decide its track, myself I faced the same decision in my career life by either following my academic life in taking engineering MS or following business side in obtaining MBA.
