Can we plan material requirements based on expiration date? Currently we produce material/batches into stock. Expiration time =12 months. How can I set-up MRP to read the expiray date of these batches and suggest new planned orders to make stock available once I hit the expiration date of the first batch?

The  best way to control the items with expiry date is the batch number for each lot of the same item. The issuance should be for the oldest batch no. the register in the item card should include the batch no in both receiving and issuing process. Using Bar Code will make it so easy.

Thank you for your invitation

You should put the materials upon receipt of materials received at the store gradually

I suggested to put regulations on the amounts received to know it

You should apply the incoming first distracted first.

It is necessary to identify the dates of the goods in the store on a regular basis

There are reports can manufacture according to items in the store

I wish you success
