Please Tell me the Typical Tasks of Chemical Engineering?

Typical Tasks of chemical engineering are : 

Design of chemical process.

Maintain and operate a process.

Fix some perceived problems.   Increase capacity or selectivity at minimum cost.

Chemical Engineer is definitely a chemical industrial process engineer. He is able to control and manage all engineering process steps for any chemical manufacturing industry from the raw materials to the final products, the controlling parameters to be controlled is physical and chemical properties e.g: Temperature, Pressure, Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, chemical reactors parameters and chemical parameters...etc.

In general , Chemical Engineer is chemist with engineering background knowledge.

The most industry which chemical engineer is working for it are:

1- Oil Refinery Process.

2- Petrochemical industries: Polymers- Detergent - Paints...etc.

3- Water/Waste Water treatment Plants.

4- Fertilizers Production.
