Thanks for the invitation my dear.

I think that is normal to happen.

I will just listen to each member and then do my job as a manager!

That's it!

Well.....good question

in my point of view  the best way is

talking to all team members and for sure give each one of them

the (agreeable, suitable, favourable & gainly) job

As with most other things in life, good preparation is essential to success. In practice this requires that you spend time discussing agreeing and then approving:

The overall aim of the project and the benefit of doing it

The scope (or terms of reference) of the project

        The key objectives project

        The specific deliverables

The resources available to the project

Roles and responsibilities within the project

Often it is not possible to define the overall requirements until some feasibility work has been done, in which case a short feasibility study may be required. Once feasibility has been established and approved then the work may be planned in the appropriate detail. This process of planning will help the team to understand its mission better and resolve outstanding research questions. The next stage is to implement the plans and monitor progress continuously until the goal is achieved. The final stage is to close down and review the project so that the lessons learnt are passed on to the next project

Talk to your team members and give each team member the job you have noticed he/she is best suited for.

A different opinions between team members relating to project work and deliverable when the project started is a normal scenario at which the project manager needs to deal with it during project execution, so the project manager needs to negotiate and communicate well about the priorities of the project based on the project charter which stated the project deliverables.

No different opinions if we have:

1- Project charter.

2- Project management plan.

3- Clear and common understanding through kick off meeting.

4- Well-defined roles and responsibilities

Because there will be conflict between team members in work and derivable, PMI instruct to use colocation.

Colocation, also referred to as “tight matrix,” involves placing many or all of the most active project team members in the same physical location to enhance their ability to perform as a team. Colocation can be temporary, such as at strategically important times during the project, or for the entire project. Colocation strategies can include a team meeting room (sometimes called “war room”), places to post schedules, and other conveniences that enhance communication and a sense of community. While colocation is considered a good strategy, the use of virtual teams can bring benefits such as the use of more skilled resources, reduced costs, less travel, and relocation expenses and the proximity of team members to suppliers, customers, or other key stakeholders.

It is a quality of a project manager to manage every type of project, from small to big, from manufacturing to construction. To take the responsibility of any new project, first I will analyse my skills and abilities to accomplish the task. I will supervise my team members, listen to their suggestions (if any) and guide him. I will control the project time, human resources and other factors as per requirement of project.

As a project manager, you need to map the work that has to be done .. to .. the resources which are available for getting this work done !

arrange a meeting, make them summarize their opinions in3 to4 simple titles, then agree on a criteria  of3 to5 points that has the priority for this project, then you have all to give each opinion a grade from1 to10 for each point of the criteria, and sum the grades of each opinion, now take the first and the second greatest sum, and apply it to discussion to choose one from the two.
