I think Excel will not end so soon. It still plays a very important role in all industries specially in Finance. Microsoft Excel is one of the greatest, most powerful, most important software applications of all time. Many in the industry will no doubt object. But it provides enormous capacity to do quantitative analysis, letting you do anything from statistical analyses of databases with hundreds of thousands of records to complex estimation tools with user-friendly front ends. And unlike traditional statistical programs, it provides an intuitive interface that lets you see what happens to the data as you manipulate them.

IN MY OPINION

Excel is a creative tool

In my field

Even with the development of accounting software is unable to meet the renewal & flexible  needs of the work and the preparation of specific reports flexibly.

In addition to the analytical capabilities and checking on the accuracy of the information

The programs will not do more than what it programmed

these make  Excel Force and skill of an accountant
