simple focus on your work , Be professional at all times.

Don't bad mouth your boss to your coworkers. Saying negative things about your boss to your coworkers will only fuel the fire at best or get you in trouble at worst

First I would make sure that I excel at my job.  I would make sure I am doing a great job in terms of quality and quantity.  If this didn't work out and he is still treating me badly, then I am sure it is personal and not about work.  In this case I'd go and frankly talk to him and try to understand what is wrong and resolve it.  If he refuses to resolve it then I would quit, I can't work with someone when we can't communicate in a civil way. This is assuming of course that he is this way with me only.  But if he treats everyone the same way then this would mean he has an attitude issue, or it is just his nature.  In this case I would either decide to live with it and avoid confrontations or quit.  But most probably I'd quit :).

The best thing is to build a good relationship between u and ur boss. To excel in job is must but not only dominant factor. Understanding is as well important. Whats the use of your hard work when your boss does not recognise it. Try to start a short open conversation, change ur attitude and know whats causing the disturbance between you two. Give time and i am sure, things may start changing.

Alhamdulillah my last3 bosses (including the current one) have been all fantastic people. At the beginning of my career I encountered an individual who was like a junior boss and his attitude was very sadistic and aggressive. The answer is endurance and in being patient. Do not let it effect your performance, keep doing what you do best. Allah rewards those who are patient Alhamdulillah.

I followed similar strategy and after a year the same boss ended up becoming not only my biggest supporter but also a dear friend till date.

Note: I will however suggest to never allow any individual to cross any ethical/ professional boundaries. You may request them politely to avoid such and in case of further such, you may report it to the upper management.
