I agree with the answer of Mr. Ayoub Tartir. Planning is not difficult if you have necessary details in hand, and use proper tools and techniques.
Flexible Planning seems to be more realistic and flexibility is required to be continued till finishing point to ensure success of the finishing stage

Planning is for me an easy process... however I got to sit back look over the entire project ,find the starting point ... and as soon as I found it everything else falls into place for me.
Whether your a project manger,a professional in design, or a beginner in the field it self, If you know what and where you are going to start from and with, if you can work with what you have and under certain criteria's , then planning will be an easy job. Unless you can innovate but you cant expand your thoughts and apply them, then it will be a difficult process.

It depends on the project manager knowledge, experience, and the project environment. In general, It needs a lot of time, effort, and stakeholder engagement to be an achievable planning.
