How do I bring more traffic to my blog?

Write posts on current topics , appealing topics that interest your niche. Link to other blogs, link to famous blogs.

Get on Facebook, set up a page for your blog, invite all your friends to like it. Share all the posts with appealing headlines, discuss them with your "likers", answer your comments. Make yourself more visible as an expert or writer by commenting on your friends' posts. Use hashtags.

You can advertise your blog on Facebook too.

Twitter is another great tool. get on it, see what's trending, write on the popular topics, use hashtags, tweet to other users, engage other users, have conversations and debates. Don't let your posts be automatically posted on twitter, they will get published without hashtags.

There are other social media platforms, such as Google+. Another interesting platform is Linkedin, although it is really underestimated. Get a profile, get on groups and post your stories, discuss other people's posts etc.

1.  First and foremost, I write compelling content - specifically designed for the web.

2.  I make sure that my contents are accessible: by including links, and incorporating appropriate keywords.

3.  My contents should be SEO-ready.

4.  I'd regularly update my content, etc...

But most of all, my contents should be truthful and verifiable.  I should also be credible so that (internet) users would keep coming back for more.
