In Egypt .....
No ! General surgery is progressively becoming an extinct speciality .....
There are many specialties within the realms of General Surgery .......
Laparoscopic Surgery, Endocrinal Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Pediatric Surgery, Colon Sugery and so on! ....
It is like internal medicine in medicine which is progressively replaced by other specialities like cardiology, chest, urology and so on.
