What is the difference between the , use of functions and the use of formatting to round the numbers in Excel?

When we use round functions,  the real value  changes

When we use  number format  the real value still and do not change 

For example 

Number value  2.353  

Using round function  +one digit   = round (2.353;1 ) =  2.4  real  result value =2.400

Using number format +one digit  =     be  showed    =  2.4   real  result value =2.353

Some times  : we get mistakes  becouse we did not care about  some detail

Unlike formatting option that allow you change the number of decimal places displayed by your data, the INT function actual alters the data in your worksheets.

Formatting doesn't change values, only functions do.

By using Functions,  the real value  will be changed.

By using Format,  the real value will be same but shown without decimal

functions will round off the numbers after digit and will change the value. formatting will only delete the numbers after the digit.
