First of all you should collect your information regarding the microwave link such as:
Site Survey.
- To collect both sits A&B Coordinates.
- Make sure the LOS is clear no any obstacles.
- Depending on distance, and link capacity (Mb/s) you should decide which frequency, modulation and antenna size you are going to use to avoid any microwave problem such as fading, interference etc…
You should Managed microwave frequency resources to get the optimum utilization and avoiding interference.
With the narrow band width of microwaves, you need to have two antenna with similar shaped .
These must have true line of sight (LOS) and must be directly aimed at each other (polarization) .
All out put info above depending on technical design by using many application and methods such as Path loss V4,V5.

- knowing freq. range and have the outhntication on it
- make a survey for the site and collect all information like loss , oppesticles , coordinations for Tx&Rx , interfernce
- desinge anntena , type your Modulation on it
- make calculations to aprove the min power recived and make sure to have LOS and the patren of power coverd the sit
