READING THE FACES OF STUDENTS IS THE INDICATOR TO KNOW THAT.............

Face expressions of the students reflect clearly the condition of their minds. A seasoned teacher can understand the outcome of his effort through these expressions.

However, I always ask each one of my students at the end to ask if there is something which needs to be explained more. Spending a few moments on this personal encouragement gives me a great output in terms of:

1- feedback of my effort.

2- close relation to the students.

3- confidence in the student to ask questions on the topic.

4- respect from the students.

5- making me confident about my performance.

This is the real moment when I feel satisfied about my achievement and I thank my Allah who did enable me to do it.

When you observe that your students understood the lesson completely, and you've done all you can to deliver the information

Anayat has absolutely encapsulated my own personal thoughts which I could not have expressed as eloquently as him!

I don't know that it can be called as a great achievement, but usually I'm happy seeing my students smile when they were able to finish their tasks without significant problems and pleased with my class.

As Anayat has aptly put it,you can judge by facial expression.Other indicators however are the kind of questions they pose, the feedback they give in form of successfully executing an exercise or any chosen measurement tool from the teacher.Successful completion of this with evidence of competence gives the teacher an indication their effort has not been in vain.

I never make great achievements, mostly good or rather humble

As an ESL teacher, I consider achievement in class when the student applied perfectly what he/she has learned in his/her sentences and has retention the next day.

Level of participation would also gauge the level of interest the students showed during the learning time, which would leave the teacher with satisfaction of achievement.

It's a very crucial question that most people won't ask, or don't know either. After taking a class, quite a good number of things go through your mind:1. did the students understand the lesson?2. was the lecture audience suitable or not?3. was my deliverance tangible to the learners? did I say very difficult things easily? did I say anything special that most teachers didn't? were the students happy with the lecture?

The above are the questions we all experience soon after finishing a class. It's all clear when you see the students are more interested to let you stay in the classroom, rather than leave the floor. Students enthusiastic participation and their happy smiles will tell you that the lecture was an achievement. As you take feedback,  you ask them questions, probably more common, of which answers they didn't know before you taught them; as you see, some of them quite openly tell you in the class that "No one" taught them like you before. You'll also see that some of them are more eager to take more exercises/homework on the given topic. This is what will promptly make you feel happy and excited. This is because the class you took was an achievement for both of the parties - you and the students.

So, think of expression first,

Impression comes consequently!!

When students keep discussing the concepts or commenting on the documents after the class... but keep smiling ! Pleasure and knowledge can definitely go hand in hand -and actually should do so.
