YES THAT IS TRUE..............  HIRE & FIRE ARE TWO BIG ASSIGNMENTS IN  MANAGEMENT ,,,,,  IT IS LIKE MAKING , PLAYING & ENDING ANY ONE ELSE CARRIER ,,, OUT OF THESE TWO FIRING IS MUCH DIFFICULT AND PAINING GAME ,,,, SOME TIMES YOUR EMOTIONS SAY DIFFERENT THING AND YOU HAVE TO  ACT OTHER WAY ............ BUT MY EXPERIENCE IS FROM PHARMA MARKETING SO I ALWAYS TAKE IT LIKE SURGERY ,,,,,,,, YOU HAVE TO DO IT EVEN IF IT MAKES LOT OF PAIN............. IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO FIRE SOME ONE TO PROTECT THE WHOLE TEAM............. GOOD LUCK MR. VINOD

Though Cause of Firing and the incidents are often compromised in between....-the impacts may  start taking new shapes and dimensions.

I understand it is a quote by Dick Grote, but i am yet to understand the logic and the power behind the Discipline without Punishment.
