Hi! In general, Administrative Support is considered the driving force of all organization, whether it is local, private nonprofit or profit.
They are sometimes referred to as the backbone or back office.
Without them, daily operations fail.
They define the structure of every organization and company.
Administrative Support is very broad since it means jobs, tasks and a scope within a group of Administrative assistants often with job descriptions of Secretaries, personal assistants, receptionists, office managers and other.
These are only some of them since sometimes a huge company has stems of Administrative Support functions in different levels and department.
It is very broad indeed.
To make it simple, we have provided the specifics of what an Administrative Support is in a common organizational setting or structure.
Job Description As an administrative support one can either be assigned to submit daily logs and reports of another administrative staff or it can be someone who is required to run the whole operation daily.
To generalize the job description of someone who is an entry level or clerk to someone that can be the department head or manager; we prepared a table for your reference.
For Entry Level or Clerk : >Completes his/her assigned daily task.
It can include a seies of work like to file all invoices, print all purchase orders, journalize all sales receipts etc.
>Submits his/her comprehensive report at the end of the day of all the assigned work within the day.
>Checks the Quality of his/her completed tasks and reports before submission and collaboration.
>Assesses one’s performance at the end of the week.
For Department head/Supervisor/Manager: >Provides work load and work assignments to his/her support staff daily.
>Submits his/her comprehensive report at the end of the week or month to the management.
>Monitors, Implements and does Quality check on the whole staffs’ assigned work >Assesses the support staffs’ monthly and weekly performance for management review.

As an Technical user you should know the basic things to end what you have studied, from the technical point of view the criteria for an Admnistrative Support you should have the skills of Trobleshooting, Monitoring, taking regular backups, working with an Antivirus, supporting desktop users problems, installations of Applications Softwares, stay up to date, using Patches for Operating Systems & for Antivirus. The main Important thing you have to notice that the Technical / Advanced users should have the good knowlege on DOS. Only the Advanced user can work on DOS in case of System Failure..

• Receive and print out the all document related to employees and keep copies for reference and future record.
• List down all actions related to project and develop table in order to share it with people who working in same project.
• Create files for equipments and information that related to operation in save it in computer folder.

• Receive visitors and coordinate all needs.
• Provide all office need to employees and facilitate stationary needs to them.
• Arrange and facilitate required paper work for employees who attend business trips and course out of kingdom.
• Provide proper arrangement for vehicle company users by utilizing check in and out form.
• Distribute all needs to employees that comes from admin building.
• Arrange, remind and follow up with department manager for meetings and appointments.
• Familiar utilizing SAP system.
• Familiar with portal and intranet utilization.
• Familiar with work flow system.
• Arrange and coordinate the gathering outside companies.

I think the top skill they require he is Microsoft Word and Excel, and being able to stay invisible and pull strings of all sort from the background
