Bill Of Landing is A document issued by a carrier ,or its agents to the shipper as a contract for carriage of goods.The 12 Common Bill of  Landing 

1:Straight Bill Of Landing :issued to customer where bills are already paid for.

2:To Order Bill of Lading: used when shipment is not paid in advance.

3:Clean Bill Of Landing :the carried has to sign off saying when the packages were loaded were in good condition.

4:Inland Bill Of Landing :This allows shipping carrier to ship cargo by road or rail,accross domestic land ,but not over seas.

5;Ocean Bill Of Landing;It allows the shipper to transport the cargo overseas ,nationally or internationally.

6Through Bill Of Landing;Allows for shipper cargo to pass through diffrent modes of trnasportation or several distribution centers.It may include inland or Ocean Bill Of Landing depending on final destination.

7:Multimodal Transport Bill Of Lading :it involves a minimumof two diffrent modes of transport ,land or ocean.

8:Direct Bill Of Lading :Used when you know the same Vessel that picked up cargo will deliver it to final destination.

9:Stale Bill Of Lading :the cargo arrives before Bill Of Lading.

10:Shipped On Bill Of Lading:Issued when shipped good arrives in good condition.

11:Received Bill Of Lading :It states the cargo has arrived at the port and it is ready to be loaded on the ship .

12:Clause Bill Of Lading :It is cargo is damaged or there are missing quatities a clause Bill Of Lading is issued.
