Where do you see Home automation and smart buildings 10 years from now?

Can't say exact in10 years, but even soon almost all state electricity boards will have an AV department to manage home automation and energy savings

Home Automation will be the future of smart homes which will be very help full for the humans to survive and will make their life easy as you can control and keep a check of your smart home from any where in the world where you have access to internet and also can operate machines from any corner of the world for an instance i know a family who went on vacation and they were not sure that they closed all the electrical appliances as they where  far away from home they could help by the time they came back they realized most of the things where switched on like ac in the guest room and refrigerator which had gone bad due to some issue and it costed them no vacation for next two years so if it was a smart home things would have been simpler and easy.and not to for get gas valves are usually kept open that is very risky .
