I am considering a career switch from investment banking operations to Administrative and/or Executive assistant. Is it a good move ?

Never do that . Investment banking is an open way , you can be manager , director , vice president in future but I have never seen in my business life an administrative assistant who became a Senior Level person . 

If you have such kind of skills to perform the job, you can move.

I have done Bachelor of Management studies (B.M.S.) from Mumbai university specialization in Finance.I Have done Certified Investment Banking Operation professional course (CIBOP),from Imarticus learning institute (Mumbai), where i learned about investment banking products. Currently i am working with BNP Paribas as an Associate level 1. 1.Listed Derivatives: Trade support, Reconciliation & Margin Confirmation. Successfully handled Migration of Listed Derivatives Process from Hong Kong &was declared STAR Performer By Vice President . Initiated to take weekly meeting with the team so as to distribute equal knowledge among team members & upgrade their knowledge on the process. Key process includes checking of the trades booked by the trader & escalating the same if any disperses found the bookings on T day itself. Verify all cash settlements and margins involving futures Initial, Variation Margin & Options premium activity on daily basis for collateral securities on daily basis. 2. Fees : Monthly Reconciliation Monthly reconciliation of trades & commission of Listed Derivatives Checking of commission rate charges by Broker as per agreed rate.
