ISO 9001:2008 had two separate terms: "documents"&"records". In new version replaced by "documented information". What is your opinion on this change?

Document refers to the current information and the same become records. As per new version "documented information" also refers to the same, however it is with organizations wish to keep the record of documented information, if it is relevant to the organization.

I think the terminology of DOCUMENT and RECORD is much better than Documented Information as otherwise basic difference of depiction of process step/flow and Factual data is lost.
