I believe in utilizing all available resources at your disposal, whether it may be online, on a newspaper, walk-in applications, or referrals. In that way you are not only isolating yourself in a few resources, but rather you are exploring all options which makes you satisfied in the job that you will take and you won't regret. You don't want yourself saying "If only I had looked furthermore, maybe I got a better job than this" after a year
You should try all and see where your luck clicks ...

Today almost everyone has access to technology. Job portals, company websites, professional networking websites such as LinkedIn are the best sources.
Infact you can access the newspaper too online.
Depends. If you are searching for an entry level job then all of the above. If you searching for a mid career vacancy then online and professional circle is your best bet. Incase its at an executive level then online and keeping your ears and eyes open for recommendation is something that adds value.
Newspaper.
All of Above
Hi Masri,

Networking and socializing. I personally have found networking to be more effective than the approaches mentioned.
if one is jobless n searching job...all above are effective n good. including PR, University bulletin boards, trade journals n magazine. these days many online job portals have their own mobile app for android users. aslo Linkedin is very popular.
