To motivate an employee first you need to know what motivates each and every of your employees by getting to know them better because not all people are motivated by same things.

Beside the above the standard motivators such as enabling growth, empowering, hearing them out, public praising, showing that you care etc., also do the job.

Understand the strength/weakness of each individual and address their discomfort for delivering expected outcomes, seek the training for fostering their growth, empowering them. Appreciate their achievements and encourage them to continue this momentum....

In short, lead by examples and rolls up your sleeves when the team needs you. Stand by with your teams side when they need your support and encouragement.  Boost their morale and motivate regularly.   Perfect ways to improve motivation and increase productivity at work place:  1. Give them the power to make decisions (Authority and flexibility at work).  2. Help them understand where their work fits into the bigger picture (Clear vision and mission).  3. Say “thank you,” publically (Appreciation and recognition)  4. Treat your employees like they are adults (Respect and Trust)  5. Get money off of the table (Pay better than others)6. Get fear off the table (Remove insecurity)
