The most important thing in Business Continuity is to identify which all processes to be recovered at the time of disaster which is done through Business Impact Analysis. Once it is done then we have to identify which are systems are required to recover those processes, manpower requirement, seat allocation, department dependency, hardware dependency, etc.

The effectiveness of the system depends on the way in which it is seated in the organization and that will become one of the fixed elements of its culture. This objective is achieved through the following actions: Testing - i.e. cyclic check the effectiveness of the BCP plan. Tests are also effective method of training and awareness building at all levels of the organization. Update - regularly check and adjust to changing conditions on the internal of external to maintain effective action plan in the event of a crisis situation
