Every animal you can think of -- mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, and amphibians -- has a brain. But the human brain is unique as it is self organizing in nature. Self Organizing system starts as  we encounter new information, our brains directs and organize the data(incoming information) into patterns and leads it to the familiar paths(paths already been established based on our biography, history , education & circumstances because of our ability to build perception). The effect of this system is that human come to rely on established, reinforced beliefs & than develop emotions over it. On the basis of these emotions we fabricate our reactions. suppose if in the past you had bad experience regarding some specific incident with particular person , now if some other person repeats it even with good intentions you will develop same emotion & reactions (attitude& behavior) & will feel same way about it and it is going to hamper your mental condition. Now, how to resolve this issue to refresh Mind: there are two stages of thinking Perceptual thinking and logical thinking.1st stage of thinking (Perceptual thinking) is something where deliberately you have to put effort to stop leading the flow of information on the same, old & already established patterns. So, The moment you experience some incident or listen words, see some actions etc etc immediately break the already establish patterns of your perception and think in a different way habitually while thinking about something good that can be some joyful activity, your hobbies, interests, aesthetics, nature(This improves with practice & confidence) and if you will be able to do so the2nd part of thinking which is logical in nature will be neutral, creative, different ,beneficial, effective and result oriented rather than nerve reckoning. This is how you can make your mind Refresh!!!! for body refreshing as a layman i can say stay hydrated, take8 hours sleep a day & eat healthy & fresh  and adopt interests, hobbies, joys & peace at same time avoiding/ keeping balance  sex , excitement & enthusiasm.
