Its an invasion of privacy if they are not telling you. But then again, they have a right to monitor your activities pertaining to your job for further training and development reasons. Just like when you call a corporate office and they tell you that your call is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Companies have that right to do the same with the technology THEY pay for to provide YOU with. They must tell you that you are being monitored. I think it would be unlawful to secretly invade someones privacy. At least in the USA it is.
I think everyone has the rights to maintain privacy. I do not belief to use technology to monitor the employees. Organization needs performance of employee rather than privacy violate.
