Organizations are like humans. As they keep growing, their mistakes' and failures' costs keep growing as well.
Taking from my own experience? This is absolutely right. In the beginning of my every job, I can't count how many mistakes I have done, had to call I.T people, Technicians, audit department..etc., but as for me, taking the risks when I was trying to discover something, that makes me a lot better on my job..it does not matter how many they are, what matter is we learned something from it... Experience decreases mistakes, and a lot of experience, shall I call it PRACTICE, makes us almost perfect...
Agreed but with some exceptions.
'A lot of water flowed under the Bridge but it may take100s of years more to get sand out of a stone'
I agree. And I believe this can help Bayt.com to correct itself, especially with regard to issue raised by Mr Ibrahim Hussein Mayaleh. We do not wish to lose Mr Mayaleh.
If you continue to be patient through your mistakes and try to learn from you mistakes then you gain a good experience. But If you get frustrated with your mistakes and give up trying new thing then this statement doesn't apply.
I would like to participate with these proverbs :
"defeats of life lead to big wins"
"Experience is the name everyone gives to their mistakes".
"those who know how to win are much more numerous than those who know how to make proper use of their victories."
"you prevent errors, you prevent a victory"
thank you for the good questions
I agree with the statement and agree with Mr. Jetley.
...experience is our best teacher, may we learn from it and do not be a stubborn student, else our experience is futile:(
Yes, mr. Jetley, I agree completely. So that is why I post a new question now...
